　　September 24, the labor union and production department hold a speech contest regarding improving quality and ensuring safe production. 19 contestants gave the vivid and convictive speech with emotions, they gained a lot applause from the audiences and judges. 　　 The board chairman of Hunan Nonferrous Metals Group Co.,Ltd Mr. He Renchun etc.,visited Zigong for celebrating the 70 th anniversary and present gift, congratulation ad. and best wishes to Zigong. During their stay in Zigong, they communicated with the major priciples of government for discussing the cooperation enlargement , opinions about quickening the related projects, besides, they visited Zigong Ban Cang Industry Base, investigated the situation about hard facing materials project construction, also he expressed his opinions and pointed the requests for this project., hoping it canbe another economic growth point.

　　 August 6th, the mayor of Zigong Mr Lei Hongjin conducted related governmental principals to our company for survey. They investigated some production lines to know operation situation and heard a report fom the general manager Mr. Zhang Yi, after that , Mayor Lei praised ZGCC for taking accurate measures in the economic crisis,hoped that ZGCC attache great importance to innovation , continuously strengthen competition power of core , increase market share, focus on projects construction and products export, make sure the same level of sales volume, profits, employees income. Stressed on improving production capability, avoiding blindness of projects development, making projects follow the development direction of national industry, quicken the base construction of hard facing materials. Also Mayor Lei prescribed the accompanied principals to give big help and solutions for the problems of company.

◆ June 15, 2009　

　　 In order to concern about the part of senior staff, our company put a short-term relaxation system in to practice this year on the basis of insisting on relaxation organization for the advanced employees, we have scheduled to arrange 42 senior staff to relax for one week at E mei Mountain Sanatorium in Chengdu Military Area at twice. This system is carrying under the condition of hard running of company, it does not only certify the care to our staff, also certify our company is confident with its future. The 42 employees mentioned above are from each branched company,the working years is above 20 years in average, and good working performance all along. The first 22 employees have gone to the destination for relax on June 8th, the Labor Union chairman of company Mr. Zeng Yuguo saw them off.

◆ June 9, 2009　　
　　 Dr.Xiao Dongshan from USA Nano Group was invited to our company for technology communication and cooperation on June 9th, also give a special lecture on “The updated technology for solution plasma spraying and its developing trend in future”at Technology Department Lecture Hall . The general manager Mr. Zhang Yi and other 35 staff from related branches took part in this lecture. Dr. Xiao reported for chemical & physical reaction probability process of liquid plasma spraying method. He made comparisons of advantages & disadvantages among the three coating methods - electronic axis, traditional plasma and liquid plasma method. This is a new surface engineering technology, which can be applied in metallurgy and petroleum tools for wear-resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-fatigue. Also explained the newest technology for solution plasma spraying and low cost chemosynthesis nano-architecture which manufactured by the way of aqueous solution reaction. The participants asked some questions refer to the lecture, Dr.Xiao explained these questions detailedly. Our staff gave favourable comments for the lecture, and hope Science and Technology Association can organize more well targeted technique trainings and lectures.

◆ June 8, 2009　
　　“ Half hour exercise everyday & working with health everyday”, In order to spark plug the healthy life , constructing harmony environment of ZGCC, the Popular Sport Meet hosted by Labor Union started at club floodlit court in the afternoon on May 27. 400 athletes from 23 branches organized into teams to participate in. There were 5 kinds of interesting competitions, which is a fast fight, the Wear Parts Branch Plant got the team champion, also some other branch plants achieved good results and were confered certificates of award by Labor Union chairman Mr. Zeng Yuguo.
